Ebony was sent to accomplish a mission, thus to win the hearts of living souls - Ebony's Father

Father of the late dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns, warns prophets to stop speculating about the cause of his daughter’s death.

In an interview on Kofi TV, Nana Opoku Kwarteng said such superstitious pronouncements were “irritating” and needed to be stopped.

According to him, Ebony was on a mission and once her mission was accomplished she had to go back to give account.

Following the death of the “Maame hw3” hit-maker, some prophets have alluded to having had forewarnings to her death; a claim her father says, are irritating.

“…That is Ghana for you. She was doing what she was supposed to do to win the heart of the masses and that was the brand. That was what she chose. I think Ghanaians talk but that’s ok. Ohemaa was not bad. Her dressing and everything was on point.

“Like I said earlier, mission accomplished. When you are done with your calling, you must go back and give account. She has paid her dues and I wouldn’t want people to attach this superstition to it. I will appreciate if they put an end to it. It’s so irritating. She accomplished her mission.”

Mr Kwarteng also said in the interview that he was yet to see the mortal remains of his daughter and that following that, her body would be brought to Accra for the funeral rites to be carried on.

Ebony, real name Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, died last Thursday in a car crash at Nyamebekyere, near Mankraso in the Ahafo Ano South District of the Ashanti Region.

She died alongside two others, Franky Kuri and Francis Atsu Vondee, when the Jeep vehicle in which they were travelling, collided with a VIP bus around 11:30pm.

Police to invite Shatta Wale over threat to burn down churches

Ealier on Adom News, The Ghana police service is set to invite Dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta Wale for threatening to burn down churches of some Ghanaian pastors whom he describes as false prophets predicting his death.

The freedom hit maker threatened to lead the Shatta movement to burn down churches if he survives by December 2018.

His threats follows a prediction by a Kumasi-based Prophet E. K. Mensah of the Christ Vision Prayer Ministry indicating that he will be the next star to die by the end of 2018 if he fails to repent.

It is on the back of this threat that sources in the Police Service is hinting that investigations have be opened into the issue.

Shatta Wale finally nominated at Ghana Music Awards

Dancehall heavyweight champion, Shatta Wale for the past four years has been missing in the annual Ghana Music Awards but things have changed in the 19th edition.

The ‘Dancehall King’ hitmaker after serving a ban from the awards had his name in this year’s nomination list when organisers first announced the nominees on their social media platforms.

The Zylofon Media signee was nominated for Hiplife song of the year with his hit sing, Ayoo. He battles with Nacee, Fancy Gadem, Patapaa, Sarkodie and Captain Planet. Zionfelix.net is sure the musician real name Charles Nii Armah Mensah will be nominated for more categories so let’s wait till all categories are out.

Charterhouse, organisers of the prestigious Ghana Music Awards sidelined the musician for disrespecting the awards and making damning allegations against the awards and the organisers.

The musician apologised to the scheme in 2017 but could not solve the issue since organisers felt he did not apologise to them through the right channels.

Organisers at a press briefing in Accra on February 8 told the media which included Zionfelix.net that they were yet to determine the fate of Shatta Wale for this year’s event. At long last, Shatta Wale is free forever (In Kwame Nkrumah’s voice…lol.”

Some Ghanaians have been spreading a false news about Ebony's corpse keeper 'Mortuary man'. A few hours ago, a video of the mortuary man playing with  Ebony's corpse, circulated on social media. Some Ghanaians who haven't taken their time to read the story, have spread this news in a wrong explanation. Watch the video


The mortuary man who was seen in a video circulating on social media fidgeting with the corpses of late Dancehall act, Ebony Reigns and her friend, Frankie Kuri has claimed that he was ordered to shoot the video by Police investigators.
A video of Ebony’s naked body at the Morgue was published by a faceless person on social media in the early hours of Wednesday.
In the video, an unknown man believed to be a mortuary attendant is seen ‘fondling’ with the naked body of Ebony and her friend, Franky Kuri.
Ghanaians who have seen or read about the video have condemned the actions of the mortuary man with many calling for his arrest.
A friend of the mortuary man, however, told Nhyira FM’s Ohemeng Tawiah that the man who is an astute mortuary man in the Ashanti Region recorded the video for evidence.

According to the friend, the CID investigators asked him to video the bodies of the victims so it can be used as evidence.
